Experimental study on dolomite used as concrete admixture
    2014-6-6 0:18:56

With the rapid development of China's infrastructure , such as conventional activated slag and fly ash admixture resources market surge in demand , prices, restricted the development of commodity concrete. On the other hand , due to the increased amount of sand and gravel mining , producing a large number of stone chips powder, high bulk storage costs , environmental pollution has become plagued by the problem of sand and gravel business . China is rich in limestone, dolomite and other mineral resources , has proven reserves of more than 4 billion t , its enormous prospective reserves . Dolomite mined annually over ten million t, an average of about 1t ore produced 0.15 ~ 0.20t chippings . Chippings particle size generally less than 5mm, most of the more angular or flake , and contains a lot of powder, due to its low Mohs hardness through the ground into a powder used as concrete admixtures , concrete can not only reduce production costs and improve concrete slurry bone ratio and liquidity , but also ease the shortage of raw materials in practical engineering and environmental pollution problems to some extent . Dolomite powder used as concrete admixtures , is a manifestation of the sustainable development of the construction industry , has important implications for the development of green concrete.
In this paper, dolomite grindability studies , and the effects of different plastic materials substitution dolomite cement concrete components for performance, shrinkage and mechanical properties for use as concrete admixture dolomite powder provides a test basis.
